Tinned Aranya Black Pepper

Diaspora Co.'s beloved black pepper is complex, layered and deserves to be savored, with notes of fig, jam, chocolate and a feisty citrusy finish.

The pepper is grown on the Parameswaran family farm in Thirunelly, Kerala, where Parameswaran and his son Akash have been naturally farming pepper for over 35 years, amidst passion fruit, tigers (no, really!), and the largest collection of bamboo and palm varieties in the region. Their Aranya pepper is vine ripened, hand harvested with utmost care to ensure maximum flavor and unreasonably tasty. 

Founded in 2017 by Sana Javeri Kadri, Diaspora Co. is a direct trade, single-origin spice company dedicated to building a better spice trade. They put money, equity and power into the hands of Indian farmers to disrupt and decolonize an outdated commodity spice trading system.
